Sunday, October 4th, 1pm: MOSI Fieldtrip Saunders Planetarium
Enjoy an educational presentation in MOSI's planetarium plus MOSI admission for the rest of the day. Experience the wonders of space in the best astronomy classroom--a realistic night sky filled with planets and stars moving through space and time in a blink of an eye. The Saunders Planetarium inspires interest in astronomy and space science through the use of a state-of the-art projection system that allows us to easily view in 3D--moon phases, seasonal skies, motion of the sun and planets, as well as day and night.
The cost to attend this field trip is just $8 per person. GACH members who attended this presentation just a few months ago are attending again with us in October - it was that good so don't miss it! July 19-25, 2009 is National Parenting Gifted Children Week according to SENG (Supporting Emotional Needs of Gifted), a national nonprofit organization and the official sponsor of this week. National Parenting Gifted Children Week, now placed in the National Special Events Registry, is intended to celebrate the joys and challenges of raising, guiding, and supporting bright young minds.
