    Join us for a fun and educational candy making experience. Learn about the candy business and create your own chocolate dipped treat. RSVP to Yvette enrichment@GACHFlorida.org by August 10, 2009. Cost is $5.50 a child and attendance is open to the first 12 registered members.

    Come and learn about the enrichment programs offered to students through these national competitions and how you can bring them to your children's school.   • Sunday, October 4th, 1pm: MOSI Fieldtrip Saunders Planetarium
    Enjoy an educational presentation in MOSI's planetarium plus MOSI admission for the rest of the day. Experience the wonders of space in the best astronomy classroom--a realistic night sky filled with planets and stars moving through space and time in a blink of an eye. The Saunders Planetarium inspires interest in astronomy and space science through the use of a state-of the-art projection system that allows us to easily view in 3D--moon phases, seasonal skies, motion of the sun and planets, as well as day and night.
    The cost to attend this field trip is just $8 per person. GACH members who attended this presentation just a few months ago are attending again with us in October - it was that good so don't miss it!     Student Enrichment Opportunity During our panel discussion on technology your children ages kindergarten - 7th grade may be entertained by the Tech Playzone who will be on sight to share exciting explorations in technology. Tech Playzone is an award winning science and technology center for children. The cost is $10 per child (for members only) and you must register with Tech Playzone in advance of our meeting.     Come learn about the new hands-on Glazer Children’s Museum for kids birth to age 10.  The Director of Education will share the education program offerings with us.
    A walk to the site of the museum and BYO PICNIC LUNCH at the Curtis Hixon Park 600 N. Ashley Dr. Tampa, FL 33602 is planned following the meeting.
