Our mission is to promote and support a high quality education for gifted students, to inform and unite parents of gifted students in Hillsborough County, and to advocate on behalf of gifted students.
Scobee Scholarships for Gifted Students
The Scobee Scholarship was created in honor of Dick Scobee, the commander of the Challenger space shuttle, and is awarded annually by FLAG. This year two scholarships were awarded at the 2006 conference to these outstanding gifted students who intend to pursue college studies in math, science or technology:
